Printable tax checklists
Four checklists covering individual returns, rental properties, business year-end and SMSFs — designed to print on one page each, with tick boxes.
What do you need to bring to a tax appointment?
For an individual return: your income statement (usually prefilled), bank interest, dividend and managed fund statements, rental summaries, disposal records for shares or crypto, private health details, and evidence for anything you're claiming — receipts once total work expenses exceed $300, a vehicle log book, and your home-office hours for the full year. Businesses add software access, bank and loan statements to 30 June, stock and WIP values, payroll and super confirmations, and trust resolutions.

FAQ
Using the checklists.
Do I need everything on the list?
No. The lists are deliberately complete so nothing is missed — most people tick a fraction of the items. Bring what applies and we'll tell you if something's outstanding.
Can I just print it?
Yes — the print layout strips the navigation and prints the checklists on clean pages with tick boxes. Ctrl/Cmd+P, or use the button above.
What if I'm missing records?
Most income data is available through ATO prefill, which we access as your registered agent, and bank statements fill much of the rest. Deduction claims need evidence, and we'll tell you plainly what can and can't be substantiated.
How do I send it all to you?
We'll email you a secure upload link. Please don't email tax file numbers or bank details — ordinary email isn't a secure channel.
